Terri Chiong I started working for a travel agency in their advertising and marketing department in 1995 after completing my B.S. degree in business management and A.A. degree in marketing. It was quite interesting to me watching the travel agents speak with various clients and make reservations. I got curious and, as they say, the rest is history. To my surprise, I liked it a lot and within that same agency, I became their Group Coordinator and Group Manager. I was fortunate enough to travel with the groups and was able to ensure our clients that their trips would run smoothly. Travel has changed quite a bit since I began 10 years ago. I have worked for both the leisure and the corporate departments in a number of different agencies. At this time in my life, however, I prefer to be a corporate agent. I love the challenge of trying to find the best priced itineraries for my corporate clients both for domestic travel and international travel. I love to travel at a leisurely pace to truly understand the local culture. My favorite destination that I have experienced so far is Italy. I love the culture, food, people, language, and their way of life. I have been to the Caribbean and some parts of Europe. I would love to visit Asia, Australia, Fiji, Tahiti, and New Zealand in the near future. There is a world out there just waiting for us to visit and I cannot wait to explore it!!! P. S.
